SECOND VISIT
After coming back from the first visit we had a better idea of how the center operates and what they are expecting from us. So we sat down and started to come up with more ideas. After some serious brainstorming, we drafted down a few of the ideas. We then went to shop around for the items and materials that are needed for our prototype, like ribbons and potpourri flowers before our next visit.
7th of October, Friday, this would be our second time visiting the PPOC center, and since we don't have class on Fridays. This time we came prepared and knew what to expect. We arrived at 9 sharp and start working on the next idea, the potpourri pouches. 4 of us who knew how to sew grab a needle and started to sew the two cloth together by hand while the rest help to measure ad cut the fabric.
It took us almost an hour to finish sewing the whole pouch and get it to look neat enough, as Miss Amy is very particular about the quality of work even if its only a test product. After completing the pouch we moved on to crushing the potpourri flowers into smaller pieces in order to fit it into the tiny pouches. We then stuff the crushed potpourri flowers into the pouch until its around 3 quarter full before topping it off with a nice ribbon tying the pouch shut and ready to be presented. Below are a few pictures of what we did on our second visit, along with the end product of the potpourri pouches and a video of us in action!

After completing our sample product we went to Miss Amy and presented the product to her, to see whether this product is workable for her. We explained how we did it and where we bought the materials like the potpourri flowers. We then clean up our work area, thanked her and left for lunch at around 12.30.
