LAST VISIT
We were not convinced that our idea got turned down, so we did test marketing with our classmates to see how many of them would want to buy the cable organiser. And so we took photos of our prototype, and asked the whole class using our class Whatsapp group to sort of collect orders. Turns out more than half of the class would love to buy it from us, since it is something that will be useful in their everyday life. After collecting all the orders, we called up Miss Amy to check with her if it was okay to mass produce the cable organisers, and she was more then happy to do so. The price that we are selling it for is 1 cable organiser for RM3 and 2 for RM 5. After compiling all the orders we got a total of 40 cable organisers orders which comes to a total of RM 100.
8th of November, Tuesday. This will be our last visit here at PPOC. For today we have divided ourselves into two groups, Jonathan and Tan went to help Miss Amy with the cutting of the woven fabric using the straight knife cutting machines, while the rest of us made a production line and started to mass produce the cable organiser. To increase work efficiency, we divided the workload by placing 1 person in charge of picking the fabric, another 2 person drawing out the dimensions on the fabric and the remaining 3 to cutting out the fabric. We then pass it on to Miss Amy to sew the fabric together by explaining the steps we took to sew our prototype. The partly-sewed fabrics were then passed on to us to flipped it inside out. After that it was being passed back to Miss Amy to sew on the Velcro straps. And this is how our cable organisers are born, all nicely designed with patterns and neatly sewed.

At last we ended up not finishing all the 40 cable organisers during the time frame. We were only left with the part where the Velcro is sewed on to the flipped fabrics, which is what Miss Amy was doing. Therefore Miss Amy told us that she will give us a call once it's done and we will come back to collect the finish products and pass the money to her.
This marks the end of our community service project, as this is our last visit to the PPOC center. Last but not least, I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation towards our lecturer, Miss Noorseah, who has guide us patiently in completing this project, and also Miss Amy for granting us this opportunity to work with her at PPOC centre. The end.
